Abby hears a scream… Devon drops his phone… and Dominic’s toy rolls across the floor with NO child in sight
In a recent interview with The TV Watercooler Podcast, Bryton James (Devon Winters) opened up about a crisis that’s brewing for Devon and Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway).
Abby and Devon have been enjoying married life for a while now, but they’re about to be thrown into some turmoil.
James promised that drama is indeed on the way for Abby and Devon, so it sounds like the honeymoon will officially be over!
As for why Abby and Devon’s marriage is about to be tested, the reason might surprise fans.
James revealed that a character in Devon’s immediate family will land in danger, which will lead to some major challenges in his relationship with Abby.
Of course, we should also consider how James’ comments fit in with some earlier Y&R fall preview info that hasn’t played out yet.
There’ll be some developments related to the storyline involving Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) that’ll pave the way for Devon’s upcoming problems.
Could this involve Will Hensley (Michael Swan) aka the stranger who Mariah almost killed coming back into the picture?
Could Will or someone connected to him go after revenge or a ransom?
Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) might get snatched while Abby and Devon are on babysitting duty for Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) or something along those lines.
It’s even possible Mariah herself could be the threat if she comes home before she’s ready.
Mariah might go off the rails and revert to when she was overly attached to “Bowie” aka Dominic following the surrogacy.
Could Mariah run off with Dominic when she’s not in her right mind?
Then again, with Christel Khalil’s maternity leave coming up, there’s a chance Lily will somehow get dragged into some kidnapping chaos instead.
