NEW UPDATE! Young & Restless Twist-O-Rama: Cane’s Staggering Next Move Would Infuriate Both Victor *and* Phyllis

Cane and Phyllis are currently riding high, holding a sexy celebration of their triumph over The Great Victor Newman, but as many Young & Restless viewers might suspect, their differing personal agendas could get in the way of a good thing… and Cane’s next move may very well prove that point.

Cane’s not exactly keeping secrets from Phyllis; he did admit to her that he felt sorry for Billy, who was clearly heartbroken to not have been included in the Victor takedown, but what he did next, he kept hidden. Sending Phyllis in for a shower, Ashby pulled out his phone, called his not-brother, and set up a private meeting for the next morning.

Naturally, that got us to thinking about what might be coming next… and we can only think of one thing that fits the bill. Unfortunately, if Cane were to go through with such a staggering move, it would leave not only Victor, but also his partner Phyllis, fuming.

Billy took Cane’s call right after make-up sex with Sally, who was in a spin because she caught him obsessing over Victor again and hiding it from her. Things are on shaky ground there, and if Cane does what we think he will, it could put Sally and Billy’s relationship at the breaking point.

Cane is well aware, and said as much to Phyllis, of how hurt Billy was when Jill sold Chancellor out from under him… to Victor of all people. Sure, Billy had become too big for his britches and fired Lily, but, interestingly, Ashby doesn’t seem to hold that against him. Perhaps he’s of the same mind as Victor that she belongs at Winters. If not, there could be even more to this twist.

Chancellor under the Newman Enterprises umbrella, and Cane holding all the cards, our hunch is that Ashby will offer it back to Billy when he meets with him. This will leave Billy, who has pledged to Sally that he’s left all that behind and is content to be her second-in-command, in quite the predicament. That said, there’s little doubt he’ll accept… the only question is how he’ll handle it with Sally.

course, would leave Victor, who gifted Katherine’s company to Nikki, incandescent with fury. Phyllis would also be fuming given there’s no love lost between her and the Abbott since he replaced her with Sally. Cane, we’re guessing, we’ll remain unbothered by these reactions. So, what would be more of a twist than Billy ending up with Chancellor again?

Cane may give Chancellor back to Billy on the condition that he offers Lily her CEO position back when she returns from visiting Mattie. She may or may not be interested, but Ashby could definitely score some points with his heart’s desire by making it an option… and he really needs points right now.
